INVEST IN A CHILD'S LIFE
Investing in a child's future could be the determining factor in whether that child sees the age of 25. Programs hosted by D3 Community Outreach, Inc are free to youth. D3 serves well over 150 youth in its annual Hayti Basketball Summer League, 50 youth in the annual Youth Empowerment and College Tour Trip, 10 youth in the C.E.O. (Leadership) Institute, and varying numbers in the Shining Star (G.E.D.) Academy and T.R.U. Mentoring programs. It is important that D3 honors those who invest in the organization with marketing, support and recognition annually. Thank you for investing in D3. It is with your contribution that D3 is able to carry out its mission and to touch more lives of at-risk youth in Durham. Through continued efforts by D3's Board of Directors, members, and participants, we are looking to make an impact on youth who need that extra push or just another chance. IN-KIND DONATIONS
For the past four years in-kind donations have contributed enormously to the success of D3. In-kind donations come in the forms of meeting space, donated basketball uniforms, donated food, ice, and water, donated services, donated computers, shadowing events, internships, etc. We thank all of you who have made in-kind donations in the past. We will continue to provide revenue, marketing and support for your business/organization. VOLUNTEER
D3 needs volunteers for each of its different programs. We need help with tutoring, contacting participants, setting up for the Summer League, and mentoring. Because D3 does work with youth, we require all volunteers to complete an application, attend a volunteer training and review the volunteer handbook prior to coming on board with D3.
